摘　　要：在语言这个科学系统中,词汇是最活跃、最具可变性的一部分。长期以来,词汇结构并不是词汇变化的主要方面,因而研究词义变化就显得尤其重要。运用原型理论来探究词汇领域稳定性与灵活性并存的现象,能够更好地分析出词义变化机制,这对英语的词汇学习有一定启示。In the system of the scientific knowledge, vocabulary is very active and changeable part . Vocabulary structure is not main part in the vocabulary change,so studying changeable meaning of a word seems to be very important. Making use of prototype theory can research the phenomenon of steady and flexible vocabulary then would more analyze changeable system of meaning of a word, and this could arouse great inspiration for learning vocabulary .
