短学期——有力保障素质教育实施的平台

摘　　要：素质教育应培养学生的综合素质和创新能力,使学生的知识、能力以及素质能协调发展。短学期是素质教育实施的平台,从制度上确保了素质教育的执行。本文从课程资源保障、管理手段保障、信息查询技术支持保障、质量跟踪保障四个方面研讨了华东理工大学短学期运行体系,阐述了在此体系下实施素质教育几年来所取得的成效,并得出了只有在完整可行的制度下才能够保证素质教育产生真正成效的结论。Quality education is meant to develop the comprehensive quality and the innovative ability of the students,and the knowledge,the ability and the quality improved in parallel.Short-term semester is the platform for the quality education to be implemented on,and it is a system to guarantee the quality education.This article discusses the short-term semester operation in East China University of Science and Technology in four aspects： guarantee on curriculum resources,guarantee on management methods,guarantee on information query technology support and guarantee on quality tracks,and it also states the effects of quality education in these years.In the end,it draws the conclusion： only when it is ensured by the complete and feasible system can the quality education yield significant results.
