摘　　要：模因论是阐释文化进化规律的一种新理论。模因研究并没有局限在文化领域,已逐渐成为外语教学研究中的一个热点。文化教育是语言教学中不可或缺的一部分。语言本身即是一种模因,把模因论应用到大学英语教学中,结合文化知识来观察语言模因的表现,不仅能帮助学生深刻地理解语言并正确地运用语言,同时也为英语教学研究提供了新的视角。confined to Memetics is a new theory to interpret the law of cultural evolution. Meme Research is not only cultural field, but also becomes a hot issue in foreign language teaching. Culture education is essential in language teaching. Language itself is a meme. If memetics can be applied into college English teaching and the performance of language meme be observed by combining with the cultural knowledge, it will can not only help students deeply understand and properly use the language, but also provides a new perspective for the study of English teaching.
