摘　　要：霍尔是英国伯明翰学派的奠基人、领导者,该学派思想的开拓者以及思想的集大成者。他为该学派的理论向纵深发展作出了卓越的贡献。霍尔深受葛兰西的影响,"文化霸权"理论一直是其思想发展的主线。通过考察霍尔早期文化理论中蕴涵的"文化霸权"思想,透视"文化霸权"产生的历史语境,以及"文化霸权"在霍尔早期思想中的具体表征,能够为我们思考霍尔早期思想的价值和意义提供话语空间;为我们剖析霍尔与文化霸权的渊源提供重要的参照点和研究视角。Stuart Hall is the founding figure,leader,thinking path-breaker and epitome of British Birmingham School.He has greatly contributed to the founding and development of this school.Stuart Hall has deeply influenced by Gramsci,and ＂cultural hegemony＂ is the continuous theme of Hall＇s thought.This paper is mainly to examine ＂cultural hegemony＂ in Stuart Hall＇s earlier cultural theory,probe into its historical context and its specific representation in his earlier cultural theory,which has offered discourse space for us to think about Hall＇s earlier thought value and significance,and which has offered an important guide and research perspective for us to penetrate into the relationship between Hall＇s thought and the origin of cultural hegemony.
