多媒体网络英语教学对培养大学生自主学习能力、提高学生英语语言技能的意义

摘　　要：随着大学英语教学改革的深入,多媒体网络英语教学得到普遍的运用和推广。本文探讨了多媒体网络英语教学在培养学生自主学习能力方面的作用,并分析了新的教学环境对学生不同英语语言技能的影响,尤其是对其听说能力的影响。文章得出结论:多媒体网络英语教学对培养学生自主学习能力具有重要意义,它不仅对学生听力技能的提高作用显著,对其它技能的提高也有一定的作用。Along with College English teaching reform,multimedia and network-based English teaching and learning obtains universal utilization and promotion in English teaching.The present paper studies the significance of multimedia and network-based English teaching and learning in the cultivation of college students＇ autonomous learning abilities and analyzes the effects of the new teaching and learning environment on students＇ different English language skills,especially on their proficiency of listening and oral English.It concludes that multimedia and network-based English teaching and learning will contribute to the cultivation of college students＇ autonomous learning abilities and the improvement of their English language skills,and it can improve college students＇ proficiency of listening and oral English significantly.
