摘　　要：人类基因组计划、转基因动植物、基因治疗、生物制药在本世纪取得了长足的进展,下一世纪必将得到更快的发展,在农业、医药卫生、环境保护、食品、化工、能源等领域得到广泛应用。我国必须加快步伐,赶上生物技术革命的浪潮。Human genome plan, biophamaceutics, transgenic animal and plant, gene therapy made great progress in this century in the world, and will make more development in 21st century. It will play an important role in agriculture, medical sciences and pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, food, chemical industry and energy sources etc. We must take great effort to catch up with the pace of the development in biotechnology.
