摘　　要：信息化正在构造新世纪经济发展和社会活动的新平台,将导致经济增长方式和社会组织方式的重大变革,高等教育也由此面临来自社会需求、技术变革和市场环境变化等多方面的压力和挑战。重新思考高等教育面临的问题,关系到改革的方向和路径选择。教育信息化是实现我国高等教育现代化的根本途径,具体思路如下:一是对高等院校进行重新定位,二是对高等教育进行基于信息化的再设计,三是做好教育信息化工作的顶层设计。Informationization is constructing a new platform for the economic development and social activities in the 21st century, which will lead to a major transformation in the means of economic growth and social organization. Against this backdrop, higher education is facing pressures and challenges from the changes in the requirements of the society, technology and market environment. To rethink about these problems concerns the direction and route of the reform. The key lies in educational informationization, which calls for the reorientation and redesign of higher education, and an effective top-level planning of this process.
