摘　　要：通过对“艺术”、“儿童”以及“儿童艺术”历史与现状的考察，提出了比较明确的“儿童艺术”概念：儿童艺术就是人类艺术活动中以儿童为创作主体或欣赏主体的那一部分艺术活动及其作品。在此基础上，对儿童艺术的特征及其基本种类进行了初步的描述。After reviewing the academic definitions of art, children, and children＇s art, this thesis gives out a brand new definition for children＇s art： children＇s art is only one part of art, including activities and works, which is special for children or created by children. On this basis, the thesis depicts three characters of children＇s art and pictures out of its major categories.
