摘　　要：新加坡有着世界级先进的公共交通系统,在城市公共交通发展过程中采取很多有效的政策与措施。论文简要介绍了新加坡城市公共交通的发展历程,并从公共交通网络、设施设计、运营管理等方面概括了新加坡综合公共交通系统的特征。在此基础上,对新加坡公共交通发展的成功经验进行了归纳和总结,包括交通规划与土地利用规划紧密结合、持续实施城市的公交政策及发展目标、多模式的公共交通体系,及健全的公交运营监管体系等。Singapore has a world-class public transport system. A lot of effective policies and measures are taken in the developing process. This paper presents the integrated development of the public transport system in Singapore and characterizes the system in terms of transit network, facilities＇ designing, and its operation and management. It is observed that the well constructed system is attributive to a land use and transportation integrated planning, continuous implementing public transport priority policy and objectives, a multi-mode public transport system design and sound regulatory system.
