摘　　要：《炀帝开河记》是第一篇以隋炀帝修运河为主题的唐传奇文,但学界鲜有对其文本做具体研究。它虽非佳作,但颇有古小说风味,对前朝文学经验有借鉴也有发展,其中不少情节成为后世小说和演义的素材来源。作品中的不少细节如开河时间、开河役工人数、殿脚女的描写等都与史实不符,但作品在歪曲事实的背后,实则是根深蒂固的民族心态和难以更改的传统价值取向。Kaihe Ji is the first Tang legend which focuses on Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty excavating the Canal.It has attracted little attention so far in the academic field.This essay tries to analyze this fiction from literature and history aspects.It is a historical fiction that comes and develops from previous dynasty＇s literature and contributes a lot to the development of later fiction and historical novels though it is not perfect.Although many details like the time of starting excavating,the number of workers,the depictions about Dianjiao girls are not in accordance with the history,we still cannot disregard it.Behind the distorted facts,there are national thought and traditional value orientation which cannot be easily changed.
