摘　　要：知识城市作为21世纪城市可持续发展的一种全新模式,对实现中国低碳经济发展具有重要意义。通过分析中国低碳经济时代选择构建知识城市的原因,认为知识城市是中国发展低碳经济的必然选择,并对知识城市的构建路径进行探析,以期对中国低碳经济的发展提供理论和现实指导,实现中国经济社会与自然环境的可持续发展。As a new model of urban sustainable development in the 21st century, knowledge cities are of great significance for developing low-carbon economy in China. Through an analysis of the reason for the choice of building the knowledge city in the period of China＇s low carbon economy, the paper indicates that knowledge city is the inevitable choice for the development of China＇s low-carbon economy. It also explores the way to build the knowledge city so as to provide the theoretical and practical guidance and realize the sustainable development among the economy, society, and natural environment in China.
