摘　　要：The cultural differences must be counted when we talk about literary translation.Cultural differences play an important role in the processof literary translation.To improve the quality of literary translation and promote the communication of different culture,it is imperative to effectively elimi-nate the culture differences.Four kinds of cultural differences between the Chinese culture and the western culture are mentioned in this thesis.There are al-so some theories that can be followed to eliminate these differences.The ultimate purpose is always to create the perfect translation that can fit the originaltext both on meaning and on style.The cultural differences must be counted when we talk about literary transhtion.Cultural differences phy an important role in the process ofliterary translation.To improve the quality of literary translation and promote the communication of different culture,it is imperative to effectively eliminate the culture differences.Four kinds of cultural differences between the Chinese culture and the western culture are mentioned in this thesis.There are also some theories that can be followed to eliminate these differences.The ultimate purpose is always to create the perfect translation that can fit the original text both on meaning and on style.
