尚柔:伍尔夫与老子思想的相通之处——由《到灯塔去》观之

摘　　要：老子的思想崇尚柔性,认为坚持柔性就是回到了生命之根。英国女作家弗吉尼亚.伍尔夫关于人类生存和发展的思想,在某种程度上与老子的尚柔思想不谋而合。这一思想具体体现在她的代表作《到灯塔去》中,主要表现在以下三个方面:一是拉姆齐夫人的柔性,二是灯塔之光体现出的柔性,三是景物描写所折射出的柔性。"柔"在小说中贯穿始终,发挥了关键作用,帮助所有的人物实现了内心的和平、精神的升华,并最终到达了"道"。Pro-softness matters most in Lao Tzu＇s philosophy, which argues that upholding softness is back to the roots of life. British woman writer Woolf＇s idea about human existence and development, to some extent, is in agreement with Lao Tzu＇s pro-softness idea. This can be illustrated in Virginia Woolf＇s representative work To The Lighthouse In this novel, the pro-softness idea can be seen mainly in three aspects ： 1. Softness in Mrs. Ramsay; 2. Softness of the light of the lighthouse ; 3. Softness of scenery description ; and 4. Softness and the final Tao. Softness plays a key role, through which all people in the novel achieve harmony and spiritual sublimation and reach the final Tao.
