摘 要:研发外包动因主要包括外部环境动因和内部推动力量,外部环境因素主要有技术动因、经济动因、市场动因;内部推动力量主要表现在降低成本、增强核心竞争力等。本文基于对上海生物医药研发、软件开发和产品设计等企业将研发活动进行外包深度访谈和调研的基础上,实证研究研发外包的内部动因,运用探索性因子分析,深入揭示企业研发外包的内在作用机理。结果表明突出表现在塑造企业形象、提高组织柔性、降低成本、分散风险和增强核心竞争力五个方面,研发外包的最重要动因已由降低成本为主导阶段发展到由资源整合和创新阶段。这为我国科技企业进一步将研发活动进行外包提供理论依据,也为研发外包服务商如何进一步提高服务质量提供理论指导。Motives of R&D outsourcing include the external environment and internal driving forces. There are mainly technical , economic and market incentives about environmental factors and mainly lower costs and increasing core competitive- ness and so on about internal driving forces. This article mainly empirically studies about the internal motivations of R&D Out- sourcing based on questionnaire surveys and interviews of R&D outsourcing of Shanghai Science and Technology Enterprises, such as biomedical research and development, software development and product design. It uses exploratory factor analysis and reveals in-depthly the inner mechanism of R&D outsourcing. The results show that there are five aspects of shaping the corlpo- rate image, enhancing organizational flexibility, reducing costs, diversifying risks and enhancing the core competitiveness. However, reducing costs is not the most important cause. It has been developed from the phase of mainly reducing costs to the stage of resources integration and innovation . This helps to provide theoretical guidance for how to further outsourcing their R&D activities of our Science and Technology Enterprises and for how to further improve service quality of our R&D outsourcing service providers.
