近代中国传统书院改制研究——以河北省为中心

摘　　要：受西方列强的冲击及西学东渐的影响,沿袭中国古代近千年的传统书院面临着挑战及近代教育转型的艰难历程,河北书院也在清末"戊戌改制"与"新政改制"中发生剧烈变革。在20世纪初新教育制度建立过程中,旧式书院改造为新式学堂,从此河北书院完成了历史使命,退出了教育舞台,却成为新教育的重要资源或组成部分,为近现代河北教育的发展做出新的贡献。By the impact of the Western powers and the influence of the Western civilization taking over the East,the traditional Chinese academies which had lasted for nearly one thousand years faced challenges and difficult courses of modern education transition.Hebei academies also experienced a drastic change during the ＂Reform Movement＂ and the ＂Reform in Late Qing Dynasty＂.In the process of establishing a new education system at the beginning of the twentieth century,the old academies were transformed to new schools.From then on,Hebei academies had completed the historical mission and quit the education stage.However,Hebei academies became important resources or component parts of modern education and made new contribution to the development of Hebei education in modern times.
