“狮和虎”的英汉隐喻认知对比研究

摘　　要：根据莱考夫和约翰逊的概念隐喻理论和意象图式理论,运用英汉语中"狮子和老虎"的相关语义拓展语料,对其图式映射进行了分析和对比。研究结果表明:"许多抽象概念结构部分源起于意象图式结构,抽象思维在一定程度上是隐喻思维"。Based upon the theory of conceptual metaphor and schema image by Lakoff Johnson,a contrastive analysis of schema mappings concerning ＂lion/tiger＂ is made by selecting some relevant language materials from both English and Chinese.The research findings have proved the following cognitive viewpoints：＂lots of abstract conceptual structures partially derive themselves from image-schematic structures,and abstract thought is,to some extent,metaphorical thought.＂
