Objective To analyze the feasibility of labeling atrophic gastritis and early gastric cancer with pepsinogens Ⅰ(PG Ⅰ) and pepsinogensⅡ(PG Ⅱ) according to the content determination of PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ.Methods We used chemical luminescence method to detected serum PGⅠ,PGⅡ in non-atrophic gastritis, atrophic gastritis, and gastric cancer patients and then calculated the changes of PGⅠ/ PGⅡ ratio. Results Compared with the non-atrophic gastritis group, the level of serum PGⅠ,PGⅡ in atrophic gastritis and gastric cancer group decreased, the difference has statistical significance(P〉0.05).The PGⅡ level in the three groups has no statistically significant differences(P〉0.05).The PGⅠ/PGⅡ ratio in atrophic gastritis group and gastric cancer group with the ratio in non-atrophic gastritis has statistically significant difference(P0.05).Compared with the non-atrophic gastritis group, the probability of cases with PGⅠ〈70μmg/L and PGⅠ/PGⅡ ratio 〈3 in atrophic gastritis group and gastric cancer group increased(P〈0.05).Conclusion The changes of PGⅠ,PGⅡ level and the decreasing of PGⅠ/PGⅡ ratio were closely related to the atrophic gastritis and gastric cancer. It plays a importment role in early diagnosis of gastric cancer.
