试论杜维明儒家传统的现代反思

摘　　要：杜维明视儒家传统为轴心文明核心价值的一种,并对儒家传统进行理性反思,从语言文字、社会科学、现实政治及价值观四个方面来揭示当前儒学研究面临的障碍。同时对西方著名学者列文森有关儒学"博物馆化"的论断审慎思考后得出结论,认为列文森并不是要完全否认儒家文化的价值,而是以一种为儒学命运担忧的情怀错误地理解了儒家传统的现代意义,杜维明试图为其纠偏,从而反思儒学第三期的发展前景与儒学新人文主义的价值关怀。DU Weiming took the Confucius as a type of core value of axis civilization.With rational reflection,he revealed the problems in the study of Confucius from the aspects of language and writing,social science,realistic politics and view of value.Meanwhile he believed that Levenson＇s idea of the ＂museum＂ Confucius was not a complete negation to the value of the Confucius rather than a misunderstanding on its modern significance out of the worries about the future of Confucius study.DU Weiming attempted to correct the bias and reflected the third period development of the Confucius study and the value concern of Confucius neo-humanistic meaning.
