摘　　要：本文是对乔国强教授的访谈录。乔教授长期致力于美国犹太文学的研究。访谈中,乔教授首先回顾了自己走上美国犹太文学研究道路的经历,而后根据自己20多年的研究体会谈了美国犹太文学的一些特点,以及青年学者在从事美国犹太文学研究时需要注意的问题。在谈到美国犹太作家辛格时,乔教授不仅为我们提供了辛格研究的新视角,还将其与另外三位著名的美国犹太作家贝娄、马拉默德和罗斯进行了横向的比较分析,并把这一代作家与以多克托罗和奥斯特为代表的新一代美国犹太作家进行了纵向的对比解读,得出了许多有见地的结论。针对目前争议颇多的犹太身份问题和比较热门的空间问题,乔教授发表了自己的独到见解,并揭示了美国犹太作家笔下城市的独特性。乔教授对美国犹太文学的创见对我们深化和拓展美国犹太文学研究大有裨益。This is an interview with Professor Qiao Guoqiang, a distinguished scholar in American Jewish Literature studies. In this interview, Prof. Qiao traces back his academic career in American Jewish Literature studies and based on his experience in academic research, he illustrates the features of American Jewish Literature and the problems we should pay attention to. When referring to Singer, a famous American Jewish writer, Prof. Qiao not only points out new perspec- tives on Singer studies, but also makes a comparative analysis on Singer, Bellow, Malamud and Roth and a contrastive study on American Jewish writers of old and new generations. For the issue of Jewish identity, Prof. Qiao indicates it is Jewish writers＇ survival strategy that creates novels on Jews, but refusing the title of Jewish writers. Finally, Prof. Qiao expresses his opinions on the problem of space and shows unique characteristics of city in American Jewish writers＇ writ- ings. His original view on American Jewish Literature is highly beneficial to our studies on American Jewish Literature.
