摘　　要：《莽男儿》是陈去病以王金发为原型写的一篇传记式纪实小说,塑造了王金发的悲剧英雄形象,生动而真实地展现了辛亥革命时期的社会面貌和社会问题,揭示了辛亥革命的种种失败症结:小农经济、士绅专权、帮会社会等。在文学形式上,《莽男儿》仍然是传统文人小说的样貌,例如仍然使用文言文,并采用了诸多传统小说模式和元素。Rash Man was a biographical and documentary fiction by CHEN Qu-bing which took WANG Jin-fa as the prototype.The tragic hero,WANG Jin-fa vividly and truly revealed the social reality and corresponding social problems around the 1911 Revolution.It was also meant to disclose the fundamental causes of the failure of the 1911 Revolution： petty farmer economy,gentry dictatorship,illegal gangs,among many others.Written in classical Chinese and having adopted many patterns and elements of traditional novels,Rash Man still took the complexion of traditional literati novel in form.
