摘　　要：大学英语差生对外语学习普遍有一些错误思想，结果导致他们的外语学习成绩很难提高。更糟糕的是有些学生甚至丧失了外语学习兴趣和信心。笔者认为，教师的及时引导和帮助是增强差生外语学习自信心，提高外语学习兴趣，不断树立正确的外语学习观的有力保障。Poor students generally result, they often make no progress interest and confidence in learning hold the same at all.
