摘　　要：数学文化史研究区别于以往的数学史研究、数学思想史和数学社会史研究.数学文化史研究要梳理出不同民族的数学文化在数学符号表征、理论体系构造、数学家群体构成和价值观念等方面存在的差异.数学文化史研究要说明不同民族数学文化在其文化史乃至世界文化史中的地位与作用.The cultural history of mathematics（CHM） research is different from those researches on history of mathematics,the history of mathematical thought and mathematical society.Based on CHM research,we will tease out the differences of symbolic representations,the structure of theory system,the composition of mathematician community and values of the mathematical culture in different ethnic groups.CHM research will illustrate the status and role of the mathematical culture with diverse racial background in its cultural history and even in the world cultural history.
