应用型本科院校实施“卓越计划”的思考——兼论工程创新型人才的素养和品质

摘　　要：应用型本科院校是以培养经济社会发展所需要的应用型人才为目标的一种新型高校,而"卓越计划"的宗旨是培养造就一批实践动手能力、创新开拓能力强以适应经济社会发展需要的高质量各类型工程技术人才,二者的教育价值取向高度契合."卓越计划"的实施一方面为应用型本科院校的长足发展提供了难得的机遇;另一方面,其他类型高等院校通过该计划加入到培养应用型人才的行列,对应用型本科院校也形成了新的压力和挑战.Applied undergraduate institute is a new-type college or university with the aim of training applied talents needed in the development of economy and society,while the purpose of ＂Plan of Excellence＂ is to bring up all kinds of high-quality engineering talents adapting to the needs of economic and social development,who have strong abilities in practice and innovation.The educational value of the both is in perfect harmony.On one hand,the implication of ＂Plan of Excellence＂ provides a rare opportunity to a long-run development of the applied undergraduate institutes;on the other hand,by joining in the ranks of bringing up applied talents through ＂Plan of Excellence＂,other kinds of colleges or universities could exert pressure or give a challenge to the applied undergraduate institutes.
