认知动词与语言信息交流概念空间重构——英汉“wh-不定词”语法化比较研究

摘　　要：在功能类型学的近期发展中,"概念空间"和语义图模式日益显示出较强的解释力,其本源和界定也在进一步的应用中逐渐突显。按照Croft的基本观点,"概念空间"代表人类信息交流概念知识的普遍结构。这一观点在功能类型学其他理论中存在普遍共识。本文以认知动词为切入点,以问-答为原型,结合认知心理学相关实证发现,提出重构语言信息交流的"概念空间",在此基础上对英汉"wh-不定词"的语法化机制进行跨语言比较解释。Conceptual space and the semantic map have emerged as an increasingly powerful explanatory model in recent developments of functional-typology, especially in the cross-hnguistic studies of wh-indefinites. These studies also help to bring their origin and definition up for serious inquiry. Croft＇ s position that ＂conceptual space represents a universal structure of conceptual knowledge for communication in human beings＂ finds general support in other typological theories of language. With verbs of cognition as the point of departure and question-answer pair as the prototype, this paper attempts to reconstruct the conceptual space of communi- cation by drawing on relevant empirical findings in cognitive psychology. The final part provides a cross-linguistic explanation of the grammaticalization of wh-indefinites in English and Chinese.
