摘　　要：浙江省淳安县文昌乡中心小学住校学生1989年3月突然癔病样发作,先后持续三个月,四个班162人(女生79人)中,发病者39人,其中女生34人,占女生的43%,多数还反复多次复发;男生仅5人,占男生的6%,性别差异显著。本文详细报告了发病、症状、预后及处治经过,发现处治不当似有强化作用。著者据此提出了今后防治建议,并就诊断命名进行了讨论。There was a break out of hysteria-like among boarder pupils in a primary school in amountain village of Chunan County of Zhejain Province in March last year.It had continued over threemonths and involved 39 students in four classes of 162 pupils (83 boys and 79 girls).Out of the 39 studentswith hysteria onset,34 were female,43% of the total girls,while only 5 were male,55% of the total boys,show-ing a significant sex difference.This paper describes in detail the onset course,symptomic manifestation,out-come of epidemic hysteria and the management by the school.It was found that inproper interventionseemed to inforce this epidemic.The authors put forward some suggestion for prevention and makediscussiion on diagonostic nomenclature based on thier survey.
