摘　　要：高等院校的外国文学诗歌教学一直以来都是一个难点,但在实践中,可以通过对东西方的文学中的诗歌作品进行对比分析,达到优化高校英语专业文学课程的教学效果。比较英国史诗《贝奥武夫》和中国最早的诗歌总集《诗经》,证明可以通过在外语文学学习者的母语文学作品中找到相对应的代表性的作品,并与所学目标文本进行比较分析,增加学生与两种文本文化之间的互动沟通,可以提高英美文学诗歌的教学质量,更好地培养学生的文学素养和研究素质。Poetry teaching is always a difficult part in foreign language teaching.In practice,comparative study of eastern and western poems can optimize English literature teaching effect in university.Through the comparison of the earliest English poem,Beowulf,and the earliest Chinese poetry collection,The Book of Songs,it proves that we an find corresponding representative works in foreign literature learners＇ mother tongue and compare them with target text in order to improve students＇ interactive communication between the cultures of the two kinds of texts,enhance the teaching effect of English poems,and better cultivate students＇ literature quality and research quality.
