摘　　要：中国传统哲学文本蕴含着"雅"的特质。这种"雅"的特质弥散于文学、绘画、书法等几乎所有中国文艺作品中,并且流传千古。在翻译西方哲学经典文本时,译者可以刻意地追求"雅"的特质。通过比较《谈谈方法》两译本可以看出,这种"雅"的特质可以通过选字、组词、炼句体现出来。Chinese philosophical classics are characteristic of ＂ya＂ style（elegance）.Being a unique feature,the ＂ya＂ style is contained in almost all Chinese arts,especially in literature,painting,calligraphy,and ＂ya＂ style also survives in contemporary works.The translators can create ＂ya＂ style intentionally in the E-C translation of western philosophical classics.This paper probes the ＂ya＂ style in wording,choosing phrases,collocation and sentence patterns,by comparing two Chinese versions of Discourse on the Method by Rene Descartes.
