摘 要:在人类社会"从身份到契约"的变化趋势中,学术职业先后赖以存在和发展的行会身份、宗教身份及政府公职身份备受挑战,以评聘协调、非升即走、聘任后评价、末位淘汰等为规程的契约化变革日渐盛行。对于学术职业而言,身份传统和契约化变革各有利弊,两者并不是依次替代的关系,而是互补关系,理应和而不同地共存。稳健、有效的学术职业改革,应坚持"身份传统+契约化变革"的整合型发展方式,而不宜作非此即彼的极端化选择。During the social development movement which was named from Status to Contract, academic profession's guild status, religious status and official status are forced to accept the challenges, and academic contract is more and more popular with such rules as co ordination of evaluation and appointment of professional titles, up or out, post-tenure review and the last laid-off. The tradition of status and the contract in academic life both have advantages and disadvantages, so the relation between status and contract is complementary, in other words, it is harmony but not sameness. It is the unitary development model of status plus contract that is helpful for forming steady and effective innovation of academic profes sion, but not the absolute idea of either this or that.
