英语联觉音组st-的隐喻认知探析

摘　　要：英语联觉音组st-所构词的词义的四条语义链中明显有各自的核心义,即"阻碍、停、稳固以及暗含速度快的行为"。从隐喻角度出发对st-的这一现象进行认知解读,发现这一具体音素所表达的音义联系主要源于st-的发音特征与意义之间有相似性。Abstract： Four semantic chains of the words under English phoanestheme ＂st-＂ have their own nuclear meaning,that is,＂stall, stop, stable and quick action＂. With the aid of metaphorical cognition, this paper probes into the phenomenon.The conclusion is that the main factor is the similarity between the meanings of words and the phonetic features of＂st-＂.
