摘　　要：国内水利英语研究还十分薄弱,难以引领全国高校的水利英语教学。水利英语的学术研究需要转型升级,其可行的发展路径是,基于ESP理论和语料库语言学理论,建立水利英语网络语料库。这样不仅可以促进水利英语教学系统化、科学化,而且可以提升水利行业翻译人才的培训效果,并为水利工程翻译走向产业化提供理论支撑和技术支持。The analysis of the studies of English for water conservancy at home indicates that more attention should be paid to the field. In order to promote the academic research of English for water conservancy, it is a feasible development route to create a corpus of English for water conservancy based on ESP theory and corpus linguistic theory, which can not only facilitate the systematizition and scientizition of the water conversancy English teaching, but also improve the professionoal translation proficiency in this industry, and as well as provide a theoretical and technial support for the industrialization of the water conservancy English translation.
