摘　　要：在写作教学中应当树立作者的读者意识。EFL写作所针对的是英文读者,而英文读者的思维方式与中文读者思维方式有所不同,所以,应当鼓励学生顺应英文读者客体意识和主体意识的思维方式,能够写出英文读者所习惯并且读得懂、读得通的文章。Audience awareness plays an important role in EFL writing and we should cultivate students＇ audience awareness in the writing class.The readers of the EFL writing are English people who have different modes of thinking from those of Chinese.So students should be encouraged to adapt to English readers and write composition in English modes of thinking.
