摘　　要：成都作为历史底蕴深厚、自然条件优越的现代都市,深具建设"世界现代田园城市"的先天条件。世界现代田园城市的实质是生态都市,应蕴含着都市生态美学思想。该文在运用都市现代化与霍华德"田园城市"理论基础上,主要运用"自然生态美学"、"都市生态美学"以及传统文化"和谐"思想,对成都"世界现代田园城市"这一远景规划给予生态美阐释。Chengdu, as a modem city with a profound history and favorable natural conditions, boasts the good natural conditions for construction of a ＂world modem garden city＂. The essence of the world modem garden city is the building of an eco - city with enough aesthetic ideas of urban ecology. This paper, based on the moderni- zation of cities and Howard＇s ＂Garden City＂ theory, gives its interpretations of the far- seeing plan of the ＂eco- beauty＂ of Chengdu, the world modem garden city in accordance with the ＂natural ecological aesthetics＂, the ＂urban ecological aesthetics＂ and the ＂harmony＂ ideas of the traditional culture.
