摘 要:词汇作为最基本的语义单位,在语言学习中是至关重要的,也是中国的英语学习者与教学者一直致力于钻研的领域。涉及词汇的研究视角及方法论较多,也得出了不少成果。本文引入情报学中信息链理论与认知理论,结合英语词汇的形态学理论,探讨英语词汇的链式呈现方法。首先,探讨人脑的链式思维与英语词汇呈现之间的相似性;然后从词根词素与词缀词素、词性变换、复合词的构成这三个基于形态理据的关系探讨英语词汇的链式呈现方法。Vocabulary,the most basic in conveying meaning,is crucial in language learning and has always been the target of research of the English learners and teachers in China.There are many perspectives and methodologies concerning vocabulary and many achievements are made.This paper,with the aid of the theories of information chain and cognition,studies the chain methodology of presenting vocabulary,combining the theories of morphology and semantics.This paper studies,first of all,the similarities between the chained ways of thinking of human brain and the presentation of English vocabulary;furthermore,it studies the presentation of English vocabulary from the following areas based on the morphological relationships: root morphemes and affix morphemes,the change of part of speech and the formation of compounds.
