Objective To explore the application value of digital subtraction angiography three-dimensional reco- nstruction and amplifying technique of blood vessels in the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial microaneurysm. Methods One hundred and fifty-eight patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysm were underwent digital subtraction angiography (DSA) intracranial angiography. With the usage of digital subtraction angiography three-dimensional reconstruction and amplifying technique of blood vessels, the aneurysm and parent artery were clearly shown and the aneurysm neck and growth direction of aneurysm body were clearly displayed. Results One hundred and ninety-four aneurysms were found in 158 patients, including 68 microaneurysms which major diameter were less than 3 mm. Embolism, surgical clipping and periodically observation were applied in treating these aneurysms. Conclusion Digital subtraction angiography three-dimensional reconstruction and amplifying technique of blood vessels could clearly show the parent artery, neck and body of intracranial microaneurysm. It is of great application value in the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial microaneurysm.
