摘　　要：本文报告1952年9月～1986年12月,196例35岁以下青年人食管癌和贲门癌的外科治疗结果,占同期手术6984例的2.81％。食管癌手术切除率为81.37％,与中年和老年组比较无明显差异。而切除死亡率为2.60％,明显低于后两组。5年生存率为29.13％,高于老年组。对提高早期诊断率、手术适应证的选择及远期疗效等问題进行了探讨。From September 1952 to December 1986, 196 cases of esophageal and cardiac carcinoma in adult under 35 years old were operated upon, accounting for 2.81％ of 6984 cases surgically treated during the same period of time. The resection rate in this group (81.37％) was similar to those of the middle age and aged groups. There were 4 operative mortality (2.6％) which was lower than that in the middle and aged groups. The 5-year survival rate in the youth group was 29.13％ obviously higher than that of the aged group. Significance of early diagnosis, choice of surgery as well as long-term survival were discussed.
