摘　　要：大学精神是大学文化的核心,在大学的发展中起着至关重要的作用。近年来,由于大学精神的渐趋失落,引发了学术界对大学本质和大学精神的大讨论和再认识。面对知识经济的机遇和挑战,深刻剖析中国大学精神的历史演进、时代境遇,努力建设现代"大学精神"不仅是高等教育发展的需要,同时也是社会进步的需要。University spirit, the core of university culture, plays a crucial role in the development of university. In recent years,university spirit has faded away, so university quality and university spirit were rediscussed and reconsidered in academic circles. In the face of opportunities and challenges brought about by knowledge economy, we need to analyze deeply the historical evolution and times circumstances and strive for building modern university spirit,which is the requirement for both the development of higher educa- tion and social progress.
