摘　　要：在我国,作为信息性翻译的《专利法》官方英译本质量很高,但也存在白璧微瑕。这主要表现在:错用法律英语中的专业术语,误以为不存在对应语而创造新词来翻译,以及介词、情态动词的误用等。本文指出这些瑕疵并提出了作者的看法。The meaning of the original text is well transferred in the official English version of Patent Law,but some errors or ambiguities appear in the translation which manifest themselves in the misuse of legal terms,coinage of new terms under the delusion that there is no corresponding term in the target language,prepositions and modal verbs and so on.The article points out and analyses these errors and puts forward the author＇s solutions.
