近代中国教会大学农业教育的历史演进及启示

摘　　要：教会大学农业教育源于传教士对中国国情认识的深化,是除医疗外又一项重要世俗性事业,其发展演变的过程经历了初创、兴盛、衰退及消亡几个历史阶段。教会大学农业教育在中国近现代高等农业教育发展史上扮演了重要角色,对中国农业现代化进程具有巨大的推动作用。透过对其历史演进过程的探究,能有助于更好地为当代中国农业教育、农业科研作出贡献,全面实现为农业、农村、农民服务的宏伟目标。Agricultural education of church universities originated in the missionaries development of a better knowledge about China. It is another secular undertaking besides medical service of the church, and its development process can be divided into several stages：initiation, development, decline and demise. The agricultural education of church universities has played an important role in the development history of China＇s modern higher agricultural education, It has greatly pushed forward China＇s agricultural modernization. Through the study of its historical evolvement, it is helpful to contribute to contemporary agricultural education and research so that the goal of serving agriculture, the countryside, and the farmers will be achieved.
