摘　　要：自2007年起,校本评核被纳入了香港地区考试和评估体系,成为香港中学会考英文科的重要组成部分。校本评核是一种在英语课堂内举行的标准参照、基于老师的口语评估创新,和常模参照的标准化测试有显著差别。本文将介绍校本评核的目的和具体模式,并简要阐述其对于中国内地考试和评估改革的启示。Since 2007, School-based Assessment （SBA） has been incorporated as a substantial component of the English subject of I-Iong Kong Certificate of Education Examination. Unlike large-scale standardized tests, SBA is a criterion-referenced and teacher-based oral assessment innovation conducted in students＇ own classrooms. This paper will introduce the rationale and format of SBA, and elaborate its implications to the examination and assessment re- form in China's Mainland.
