摘　　要：咀嚼肌痉挛是一种临床罕见疾病,表现为单侧嚼肌突发阵发性、不自主地抽搐发作。伴或不伴有单侧面萎缩或局部硬皮病,其发病机制至今尚不明确,国内外报道极少,目前为止,仅26例具有肌电图支持的病例报道。文章复习了相关文献,对其病因、发病机制、诊断原则、治疗方法等作了系统综述。Hemimasticatory spasm is a rare cranial nerve disorder, which is characterized by paroxysmal involuntary contraction of one or more unilateral jaw-closing muscles. It is induced by movement of the mouth and accompanied by progressive facial hemiatrophy or localized scleroderma. Until now, only 26 patients who were demonstrated definitely by electromyography have been reported in the world. Although there has been considerable speculation regarding the mechanism that results in hemimasticatory spasm, none of them could provide reasonable hypothesis to explain all the aspects of the disease successfully. The specific mechanism of the disease has not been understood by now. In the recent paper, with a literature we reviewed the literature comprehensively, the etiology, diagnosis and treatment as well as mechanism of the disease were analyzed as well.
