摘　　要：文章把远程教育体系视作大系统，介绍了作为系统末端环节的学习中心，它的运行模式、如何架构、应 具有的功能，对当前远程教育工程建设存在的问题及其发展前景发表了一些带有探索性意见，并介绍了学习中心的 软硬件配置及其外联问题。The study centres, at the receiving end of the distance education system, are analyzed in terms of their operations mode, structure, and functions. The author also looks into their exist ing problems and looks ahead into their future developments.
