文化资本与大学生英语学习“高原现象”的关系——兼析大学生英语学习“高原现象”致因

摘　　要：本研究依据高校学生英语学习中的"高原现象"及其延续时间,将学生分为"短高原期"和"长高原期"两个组,探讨文化资本理论和相关观点能否解释"高原现象"的发生和延续时间;同时,依托调查数据,具体分析高校学生英语学习中"高原现象"的多种原因。结果表明,文化资本理论及其相关观点强调的家庭背景因素影响学生学习成绩这一核心命题,无法解释高校学生英语学习成绩和"高原现象";高校学生英语学习"高原现象"的产生源于多种原因。Based on plateau phenomena in English learning of university students, the students could be divided into short term group and long term group according to the duration of plateau phenomena. .And it analyses the causes of plateau phenomena in English learning of university students. However, it finds out that there are no any obvious relations among plateau phenomena and family background. It means that culture capital theory and related points are not sound enough to explain some specific learning fields, and some other perspectives should be used to explore the causes of plateau phenomena in English learning of university students.
