摘　　要：传统交换芯片只能将内存固化于芯片内部,无法扩展外部存储器。针对这一问题,提出了一种基于网络处理器的外扩TCAM的方案。在此基础之上,对TCAM内存管理进行了分析,研究了网络处理器与外扩TCAM的通信原理,并详细描述了TCAM模块的初始化实现过程。经测试表明,该硬件运行稳定,为微引擎表项查找提供了存储空间。The traditional exchange chips can only fix the memory in the internal of the chip and can not expand the external memory. So aims at these problems, a network processor is proposed based on extended TCAM scheme. Then based on the basis, the TCAM memory management is analyzed, the communication principles of network processor and the expanding TCAM are studied, and a detailed description of the TCAM module initialization process is given. In the end, the test results show that the hardware can run stably and provide some storage spaces to the micro engine table look-up.
