摘　　要：磨蚀前外语水平是影响外语磨蚀程度的关键性因素,根据"倒置假设"(Inverse Hypothesis)理论,磨蚀前外语水平与磨蚀的量或/和速度成反比。为了论证这一假设,本文以英语动词的四大形态为研究内容,以是否通过大学英语四级为水平分界线(关键阈值),开展了磨蚀前水平因素的研究。Proficiency level prior to attrition is popularly considered as one of the key factors that exert a significant influence on the attrition of foreign language skills.Inverse Hypothesis claims that the higher the degree of attainment,the lower the degree of attrition.To testify this hypothesis,four morphological categories of English verb have been extracted for this empirical study and CET 4 is supposed as a standard proficiency level in it.
