摘　　要：城市建设和管理水平是一个城市经济社会发展水平的重要标志,是一个城市文明程度的重要体现。郑州城市建设和城市管理呈现出良好的发展态势,面临着中原经济区建设千载难逢的历史机遇,但同时也面临着重建设、轻管理等很多问题。吸收借鉴国内外都市区建设过程中城市管理的成熟经验与先进理念,全面提升郑州都市区建设和城市管理水平需要从创新理念支撑、健全制度保障、完善基础设施、改善城市面貌以及加强人文建设等方面努力。The level of city construction and management is an important symbol of a city＇ s development level of e-conomy and society,and also an important embodiment of a city＇ s civilization. The development and city manage- ment of Zhengzhou city presents a good state of development, at the same time it faces some problems of paying more attention to construction and neglecting management. Learning from the experience and advanced conception of the developed regions at home and abroad during the process of city construction and promoting wholly the level of Zhengzhou City＇s construction and management need to begin with innovating ideas, promoting system safeguard, perfecting infrastructure, improving the appearance of the city and strengthening humanities construction.
