以“导引”为例探讨中医养生术语的英译法

摘　　要：导引,是我国一种具有悠久历史渊源、功效显著的锻炼形体、祛病延年的养生方法。对"导引"术语的准确翻译,有助于促进中医养生文化的对外传播。然而目前对"导引"以及其他养生术语的英译还不统一,对"导引"以及其他养生术语内涵的认知还不够准确和深入,影响了中医养生文化的传播。文章以"导引"为例,从其内涵入手,通过比较和分析其现有的几种译法来探讨中医养生术语的英译法,旨在推求更适合中医养生术语翻译的方法。Daoyin is a life-nurturing method in China with a long history.It can refine and nourish the body,cure diseases and prolong one＇s life.An accurate translation of the term ＇daoyin＇ can help to promote the international communication of Chinese medical culture of life nurturance.Nowadays,however,the failure in normalizing the English translations of ＇daoyin＇ and other life-nurturing terms and the lack of full understanding of the connotation of ＇daoyin＇ and other life-nurturing terms have become an obstacle of popularizing Chinese medical culture of life nurturance.Taking ＇daoyin＇ as an example and starting with an analysis of its connotation,this article aims to seek a better translation method for Chinese medical terminology of life nurturance by comparing and analyzing the existing English translations of ＇daoyin＇.
