摘　　要：城市边坡植物防护对边坡有其积极和消极两个方面的作用。系统阐述了植被护坡经济,力学机理上的优点,并阐述了其明显的不利之处。在此基础上,指出了植物防护的局限性,并提出了树根桩和植物防护相结合的新型防治措施。Urban plant protection plays both positive and negative roles on the slope protection. With describing eco- nomic analysis of vegetation slope protection and mechanical mechanism on both advantages and obvious disadvantages, the limitations of plant protection are pointed out, and new prevention and treatment which is a combination of root piles and plant protection measures are proposed.
