摘　　要：矿学是近代中国从西方引进重要西学之一。矿学知识的传播,不仅适应了中国工矿企业生产的需要,更为中国矿业教育的兴起提供了必要的物质内容。矿学知识的传播离不开深谙西学的传教士,其中傅兰雅的作用最大。傅兰雅通过编译矿学书籍、编辑科技报刊以及创设西学学堂,在传播矿学知识上作出了开创性贡献。The mining science is one of the important western sciences introduced from the West into modern China.Mine knowledge dissemination not only adapts to the production needs of Chinese industrial and mining enterprises,but also provides the necessary material content for Chinese mining education.Mine knowledge dissemination is inseparable from the missionaries who familiar Western sciences,of whom John Fryer contributed the most.John Fryer has made seminal contributions in the dissemination of mining knowledge by compiling the mine science books,editing the press of science and technology and setting up the western style school.
