摘　　要：随着高校图书馆图书情报工作现代化的不断发展,高校图书馆员的继续教育,已成为高校进步发展中的重要工作内容之一。文章分析了新时期推动和支持高校图书馆员继续教育的基本动因,同时从切合高校发展、图书馆人力资源、馆员个人职业发展实际的角度出发,强调了高校图书馆员继续教育要努力做到切实有效。With the continuous development of librar）, and information service in higher schools, the further education of librarians in higher schools has become one of the important tasks in the, further development of higher schools. This paper analyzes the fundamental causes which further and support the further education of tihrarians, emphasizing that the further education shouhl be effective and practical.
