摘 要:近代中国,全社会寄希望于教育,教育寄希望于全新的教科书,个人、书坊、官方编撰的教科书,均呈现出功利主义的自觉意识。教科书在进化论的引领下,崇尚"科学"改造社会的理性启蒙,呼唤"审美"改造人生的感性启蒙。教科书启蒙功利主义在积极构建"现代人"存在的合法性,在渗透着市民社会的开放视野中,坚守着价值无空场的本土意义。In modem China, the whole society cherished a great hope to education that was well-grounded in the utilatarian textbooks compiled by individuals, publishing houses and governments. The compilation of textbooks, directed by the theory of evolution, took in the rational enlightenment of science renovating society, and called for the sensual enlightenment of aesthetics shaping life journey. Human beings were constructed in the textbooks in the sense of nature, spirit, material and politics, thus forming the "modem man". Textbooks were open to the citizens' community while keeping to its omnipresent value of original sense.
